Spoilers suggest that there will be a massive moral conflict for George Knight. He will soon learn that his adoptive father is dying. On the other hand, George and Nicola finally bring baby Ivy home from the hospital. However, their peace doesnt last long. Elsewhere, the family throw a surprise party for the newborn, which brings immediate stress to the new mum.
Nicola and George initially struggled with the pressure of caring for premature Ivy. However, soon, Nicola finds several missed hospital calls on George’s phone. And hence, she fears for their daughter. After calling the number back, she finds Eddie on the other end. That’s when Eddie admits that he is close to death. Initially Nicola tries to hide this meeting, but her secret soon comes out.
It happens when George finds a hospital parking ticket. We are all aware of the deep pain and hatred George has towards the man who raised him. Despite that he decides to visit the hospital for him. But when he sees one once-formidable Eddie in such a fragile state, he is left shocked.
Nicola Mitchell Faces Financial Woes In EastEnders
Away from the hospital bedside, Nicola faces a mounting crisis regarding the family business. Her accountant soon reveals that Harry’s Barn has fallen into significant debt. Hence, the future of the bar is now left in jeopardy.
Later, Gina and Harry eventually confess to the cash flow problems. They even plead with Nicola not to sell the establishment. Now, Nicola has to deal with financial pressure while supporting George through his family’s revelations.
Determined to protect her loved ones, she eventually returns to the hospital. Soon, she demands that Eddie stay away from her family for good. However, now the family legacy is at risk. In fact even George is feeling conflicted.
