Phil Faces Pressure From All Sides In EastEnders
Nigel, Julie and Lexi are busy preparing for the auditions. It is for the film Nigel has written. And so they want people around them to take part. Moreover, many people in the Square are hopeful and try to seek a role in the movie. Priya, Elaine Callum, and even Harvey are all ready to give it a go. Elsewhere, even Ian tries to get a place in the film. However, Lexi has eyes on one person.
She wants Phil Mitchell to step into the character. She feels he would be the perfect choice for the film. An insider from the soap said that Lexi is very excited to have Phil on board. She is pretty sure that he will be able to do a performance that will be talked about by everyone. Nevertheless, she is aware that persuading him to take the role would be the toughest thing to do. If the person who makes perfect sense in explaining the matter is not the one, then Phil won’t listen even for a second. And so she gives the responsibility of convincing him to Billy.
Repetitively, Phil also declared that he wouldn’t hesitate to do anything for his family. Toward the evening, Phil entered the lounge at No.55. On his head, he had a silver wig. And Billy Lexi, and Nigel were surprised to see it.
Then they all sit on the sofa with their scripts. They all wait to see if Phil will go through with the role. Elsewhere, Phil stands there with the wig. Lexi, Billy, and Nigel really want him in the film and want him to commit. They even try to make him believe that he can take on the part. And that he will bring something special to the film.
Nigel’s Storyline Takes A Deeper Turn
Moreover, the work on the film is not just for fun. It will lead to a major episode this Christmas. Nigel’s dementia symptoms worsen during the community screening of the film. And his memories take him back to the 1990s. And it is when two familiar faces will return. It’s Pat Evans and Barry Evans. They will come to guide him through the confusion.
One of the actors shared that coming again felt warm and familiar. It would also be interesting to see whether Phil will keep the wig or hand it back.
