As BBC makes way for the Sports Award ceremony, there’s another schedule shake-up for EastEnders this week. BBC is all set to air the Sports Personality of the Year awards on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. This means there will not be a fresh episode on air on the same day. The missed instalment of the show has then been scheduled for the next day, Wednesday, December 18th, at the same time.

However, the BBC programme will continue to be available every morning at its usual drop time of 6am on iPlayer. This week was extra special as the show aired a special format-breaking episode for alcoholic Linda. We all saw the Queen Vic landlady looking at her own deadly future if she didn’t leave the bottle. Viewers were made to believe that she died and her kids returned to attend her funeral.
After this horror dream, Linda returned home to her mother. And told her that she doesn’t want to die and will instantly move to rehab. Along with Linda’s storyline, Cindy Beale is also taking the centre stage as her affair secrets are about to be exposed soon on Christmas Day.
