EastEnders actor Richard Blackwood just landed abroad to film a brand-new TV series. He shared the update on social media while thanking God. Richard Blackwood’s New Project

Richard announced his arrival at a new filming location through his Instagram account. The actor also said that he’s really excited about the new role. In fact, he has promised to keep his followers “updated” on his journey.

But he hasnt revealed the specific name of the show. However, fans are already celebrating his return to the screen. After leaving the Square this would be a significant move for the actor. 

Elsewhere, Richard is also planning to release “PART 2” of his stand-up comedy reel this weekend to thank his supporters. The actor captioned his post as, “ Just Touchdown abroad to film a TV series!! Recognising God’s Blessings!! I shall keep you all posted! Also, PART 2 to my Stand up Reel coming over the weekend! Thank you to all the people who have been loving them and to the new people who never knew I am a force in the comedy Space!! We Don’t Stop.” 

Several co-stars and fans also reacted to the big news. Clair Norris also commented to celebrate her co-star’s achievement. Meanwhile a fan wrote, “Always a smile seeing you smile.” Another wrote, “Highly blessed and favoured.” Elsewhere, a third user commented, “Looking good xxx.” Meanwhile, “I swear you’re turning 35 next month, said one.” 

Richard’s Final Stint In EastEnders

Richard played Vincent Hubbard on the BBC soap. His exit storyline involved a conflict with gangster Aidan Maguire and the police. Also, his fate was left as a mystery for several years. However, later it was revealed officially that he had been killed. 

EE/Vincent’s character has been killed on the soap.

During his final days, Vincent was desperate to escape Aidan’s influence. He was also pressured by the police to act as an informant. That’s when she provided information on Phil Mitchell and Aidan. Later, it was revealed that Vincent was partially responsible for the death of Aidan’s brother years prior. Hence, this led to a vendetta against him. 

In his final scene, Vincent was kidnapped at gunpoint by a corrupt police officer working for Aidan. In fact, for three years, Vincent’s character was missing.
