Rita Simons uploaded a picture of her spine to Instagram during Scoliosis Awareness month, showing severe ‘42 and 52-degree curves’. In fact, the actress also confessed that she felt ashamed of her shape for years. It was also exhausting to explain her condition to TV wardrobe departments.
Fans who follow her might know that Rita had a breast reduction recently to ease the physical strain and it has helped her enormously. Well, Rita also urged her followers to make peace with their bodies rather than trying to look perfect 24/7.
Several fans also reacted warmly to the post with one saying, “Such an amazing and inspiring post. Thank you for sharing and helping all us Scoliosis warriors feel so seen.” Another added, “You are beautiful inside and out.
