Shona McGarty and Tony Discipline appeared together at the Women’s Football Awards. In fact the pair looked close as Tony had wrapped his arm around Shona’s waist on the red carpet. Later, even Shona shared a photo of them on her Instagram stories with a ‘fire’ emoji. We are also aware that this outing occurred after a public reunion between the two on St. Patrick’s Day.
Elsewhere, fans had noticed the pair together in March. They had shared a selfie with the caption “What are the chances?” Hence, this recent awards ceremony is the second appearance together in a few weeks. But fans were in awe seeing their former fan-favourite couple together again. However, despite their frequent outings, the two have never formed a romantic relationship.
Shona And Tony’s Final Stint On EastEnders
Shona played Whitney Dean while Tony played Tyler Moon on the BBC soap. Whitney left the soap around two years ago after Zack’s betrayal. So during the vows, Britney had revealed that Zack had cheated on Whitney with her best friend, Lauren Branning. Hence, she called off the wedding with Zack.
Later, she decided to start a fresh start away from Walford. Hence, she left the Square to love with her brother, Ruan Malloy. In fact, Whitney also took her new baby, Dolly and foster daughter Britney along with her. Shona had quit the soap to pursue new projects, including a singing career.
Elsewhere, Tony left the show way earlier than Shona. It happened after the breakdown of his on-screen engagement to Whitney. He felt that he had nothing left in Walford. Hence, he decided to join his brother Anthony Moon, working on a cruise ship.
