Grant Mitchell Comes Back And Fears Phil Is Slipping Again
Grant rushes into the Square after Mark’s desperate voicemail about Nigel’s state. However, when he arrives, he realises that Mark is equally worried about Phil. Later, the brothers sit down with Sam for the first time in a decade. Hence, the moment turns into an emotional reunion.
But soon Phil insists that he doesn’t need them. Thus, he pushes both Sam and Mark out, leaving everyone alarmed. However, Grant notices that Phil is avoiding seeing Nigel and sinking further into his own thoughts. Next, Phil searches for something connected to Nigel’s past.
That’s when Grant is forced to choose between helping his brother and being with Nigel in his final moments. Their confrontation at the beach becomes heated. Later, Grant has a conversation with Linda as he tries to figure out how to support his brother.
Nigel Passes Away As Grant And Phil Race Against Time
At the care home, Grant is stunned to see how much Nigel has ‘deteriorated’. He is shocked that his brother, Phil also hid the truth from him. Later, Sam fills him in on Julie’s decision to stop treatment so Nigel’s final days can be peaceful.
Elsewhere, Billy tries to convince Phil to visit, but he refuses. Next, Grant stays at Nigel’s bedside and is surprised when Nigel briefly wakes up. The ailing patient asks him to find the special item he mentioned. And Grant confronts Phil while searching for it. Later, when Billy and Mark go to check on them, both brothers are missing.
Phil has headed to the beach again and Grant is chasing after him. Later, Julie confirms that Nigel has only moments left. However, the brothers are struggling through several delays returning. Luckily, Nigel holds on long enough to say goodbye to Phil, who arrives just in time. After his death, neighbours arrange something special for Julie and Phil to ‘honour’ Nigel’s life. Although Julie is heartbroken, she is touched by the support.
Ravi Finally Gets Answers About His Mental Health
After another self-harm incident and refusing to let his family leave the flat, Ravi is taken into a mental health unit.
Doctors assess him and diagnose him with complex PTSD. Elsewhere, his recovery begins as a treatment and therapy plan is put in place.
