Joel Becomes A Target
Joel struggles to settle back into Walford after leaving the Young Offenders’ Institute. Elsewhere, Ross tries to help him by arranging a place for him at the sixth form. However, it’s not going to be easy for him as Amy, Avani and Nugget make it clear that they do not want him around.
Even at home, things are difficult as Vicki, Ross, Ravi and Priya deal with the situation in different ways. Later, when Joel feels unwanted he decides to leave and heads to the tube station. But soon Lily changes his mind after inviting him back to No. 31. She also listens to him as he speaks about his time away.
However, Amy and Avani are still determined to teach him a lesson. Hence, they invite Joel to Walford Park for what seems like an end-of-term celebration. But they quickly lock him to a fence, pour beer over him and film the whole incident.
Lauren And Mark Get Closer In EastEnders
Lauren is furious after she discovers that Mark forgot to fit fake number plates before selling a car. In fact, this mistake nearly lands him in trouble with the police and causes another argument between them.
In the middle of the row, the pair again almost give in to temptation but Lauren pulls herself away. Later, Mark asks Lauren to meet him again at the Boxing Den. Although she turns up, she later makes sure Peter knows where her heart is.
Even Ian notices something is bothering Lauren and questions her. However, she insists that Peter is the only man she wants.
Denise Opens Up To Jack
Jack struggles after he is placed on compassionate leave and learns that Craig will take over his latest case. Later, Phil encourages him to stop keeping everything inside and speak honestly with Denise.
Soon, Denise finally tells Jack how much losing her friend Tiana has affected her. Fortunately, this conversation helps them understand each other better. However, they don’t get long together as Jack receives an ‘urgent’ call about what happened to Joel.
Linda Meets Someone New
Linda’s latest sober dance class does not go as planned and it leaves her worried about the future of the community centre. Later, Ian introduces her to local councillor Clive Masters who offers his support with the campaign.
Later when they spend time together, Elaine notices that they get along well. Hence, she hopes there could be something between them. Soon she starts giving the pair a little push in the right direction.
EastEnders: Ian Prepares For Court
Ian finally accepts what lies ahead and agrees to spend one last evening with his family before his court hearing.
