George and Nicola arrive home from the hospital to find a surprise party for baby Ivy. However, Nicola feels overwhelmed, hence she shuts it down almost instantly. Later, she tries to settle after having a quiet chat with Gina.
But soon she realises that George has missed several calls from the hospital. Believing something is wrong with the baby, she rushes back. However, to her shock, she finds Eddie Knight waiting for her. That’s when he reveals that he is dying. Initially, Nicola hides the encounter, but not for too long. George finds out the truth after finding a parking ticket.
Later, he confronts Eddie himself. But he is stunned to see how frail he looks. Next, George decides he has to face Eddie one final time. And Nicola warns Eddie to stay away from their family for good.
Phil And Julie Struggle In The Aftermath Of Nigel’s Death
Phil is lost without Nigel and tried reaching out to Grant. He hoped that they could reconnect but both Grant and Mark pulled back. Hence, this leaves Phil feeling rejected. Later, Julie prepares to collect Nigel’s belongings on her own. She didn’t want Phil to go through more heartbreak.
Later, Kat sees her looking distressed and Julie breaks down. Hence, Kat forces Sam, Phil and everybody to rally around Julie. Hence, they together accompany her to the care home. Over there, Julie finds a letter from Nigel, but she is not ready to read it yet.
Ian And Elaine’s Battle Explodes In EastEnders
Ian gets inside the councillor campaign, only to realise that almost everyone is backing Elaine. He becomes so desperate that he tries to bribe Howie, Harvey and Mo at the allotments. However, he fails miserably. That’s when Bea encourages him to release a smear video targeting Elaine.
But Ian is hesitant about Bea’s plans. Later, things get worse when Oscar switches his speech. This leaves Ian feeling humiliated. Next, surprisingly, Elaine steps in to help him recover. However, Ian felt embarrassed and finally snapped. Hence, he let Bea release the video at Jimmy’s party.
Unaware of the storm, Elaine drops by to wish him luck. But soon Cindy tips her off about the video. A furious Elaine then confronts her rival. As election day arrives, Bea works the crowd. Elsewhere, Ian desperately tries to do damage control. However, the trust between the two rivals is shattered.
Linda Leans On Grant As Max And Cindy Go Public
Linda struggles watching Max and Cindy announce their relationship. That’s when Grant encourages her to focus on herself for once. Later, Elaine reveals that Johnny is facing some financial issues. Hence, Linda decides to help him by selling her share of Fox & Hair.
But Johnny rejects the offer and lashes out. Unable to hold it together, she snaps at Grant who tried to pick her up again. Next, Grant confronts Johnny at the cafe. Meanwhile, Max and Cindy celebrate their joint birthday. However, Max gets jealous when he learns that Linda has slept with someone. Later, Cindy agrees to move in with him.
Gina And Harry Scramble To Save The Restaurant In EastEnders
Gina accepts a loan from Harry, who dips into money from Harry’s Barn. He wanted to help with Knight Fusion’s financial issues. However, Nicola learns from her accountant that Barn is already running at a loss.
Later, Gina and Harry are forced to admit what they’ve been doing. And he begs Nicola not to sell the business.
The Queen Vic Loses Trade To A Surprising Rival
Kat and Alfie discover that their regular customers have been sneaking off to the allotments for cheap drinks instead of supporting the Vic.
Next, Kat gives Howie and Harvey both barrels for helping run the unofficial rival pub. Even though the pair tell it’s harmless fun, Kat isn’t having any of it.

When Sam sees Denise asleep in the salon she realises her exhaustion is getting impossible to hide. Denise admits she has already booked a doctor’s appointment.
