There is going to be trouble in paradise for Harvey and Jean, highlight EastEnders spoilers. The couple has been together for a long time, but Harvey’s new friend, Maya Houssain, is going to create chaos between the two love birds in the upcoming week.
We all saw Maya coming to Walford last month after she met Harvey, and the duo instantly connected over football. However, the new character has been behaving mysteriously ever since her arrival and now has left Jean Slater concerned. Keep reading to find out what will happen next!
Harvey & Maya Meet Suspiciously, Jean Is Worried
Regular viewers know that Maya came to the show last month and has been friends with Harvey. The mysterious character has always looked suspicious to Jean. However, the show hasn’t shown much history about Maya or where she came from. However, there have been several fan theories about Maya’s husband being attacked by Harvey’s son Aaron, who is currently in prison after planting a bomb in Arjee Bhajee Restaurant.
Many fans also believed that Maya was the wife of a taxi driver who also had the surname Houssain. He was attacked by Aaron and the gang back in 2021 after the bomb incident, leaving him injured. This speculation caught more attention when Maya tells Harvey that her husband, who recently passed away, was also a taxi driver. So, there is a potential that this whole situation might be some how and will create more chaos in the upcoming weeks on the BBC One soap.

EastEnders spoilers reveal that Harvey and Jean will be getting ready for a romantic evening together when he receives a text from Maya. He then makes an excuse and leaves Jean to meet Maya, who tells Harvey that she’s selling her house to get rid of her debts. But, a trouble storm is coming for Harvey when Freddie spots him with Maya and worries that he is cheating on Jean. It seems like Freddie will be concerned that Harvey and Maya are in a secret relationship.
After Maya leaves, she drops a letter with a different address to the one she said she lived at. Viewers will see Harvey trying to find the truth and knocking on Maya’s door when he hears a loud crash from inside and rushes to find a distressed man. Later in the week, Jean will be convinced that Harvey is cheating on her.

But when she sits down with him to discuss while thinking that Harvey might drop the bomb of cheating on her, he will actually reveal the truth about Maya. Even though he will be determined to do something, Jean will convince him that his plan might get him into more trouble. What will happen then? Only time will tell.
