Kat’s Heartbreaking Storyline With Son Tommy

EastEnders spoilers for Monday’s episode reveal that Tommy has taken things too far. Viewers saw him playing with friends when Tommy came up with an idea to kick a football at his twin brothers Bert and Ernie, which resulted in one of his younger brothers getting hurt. Very soon, Kat caught sight of this situation and was furious at Tommy, so she immediately told him to stop.

As if this wasn’t enough, Tommy quickly retaliated and warned his mother to ‘watch herself’ if she didn’t want the social services to come to the door again. Viewers saw Tommy calling social services on Kat after she pushed him on the floor after he punched her in the stomach last week during an argument over Phil. After this, a worried mother, Kat, told Tommy to look at himself and see who he has become. But, Tommy couldn’t care less about the impact his harsh actions are leaving on his mother.

Later, Kat will confide in Alfie and admit that she cannot handle Tommy’s radical behaviour alone anymore. This whole storyline marks the beginning of a parent-abuse storyline where Kat is being abused by Tommy. As the narrative moves forward, viewers will see Tommy dominating Kat’s life with his poor attitude and the effects it will have on their relationship.
