She believes that her family will be as excited as she, but she is left disappointed when neither Gina Knight nor Peter Beale shows any interest in helping her with organising the party. Furthermore, things mess up more when Cindy assumes that Max is also not interested in the celebration.
However, she is relieved when Max wants a bigger event than planned. Thus, she is happy and wants the party to be successful. Cindy asks Priya Nandra Hart and Jean Slater to help her with the preparations. Both of them prepare The Vic for the huge day. However, there are growing tensions again.

Jean says something which upsets Priya. But then he tries to comfort her. However, while he is trying to make amends, he learns the truth about Ravi Gulati from Priya. Later, Priya clashes with Cindy. She threatens to expose Max, who gets tense and tries to sort out the matter. However, Priya warns him about revealing the truth.
Max is tense while Priya enjoys the game. At the engagement party, Priya makes a bold entry. She knows how to grab attention and starts flirting openly with several people. However, Cindy observes her behaviour around Max and gets suspicious.
