Regular viewers of the show know that Harvey Monroe and Jean Slater were once a fan-favorite couple, but the duo went through a rough time after Maya came into their lives. Ever since they haven’t been able to mend things, and things might not get better soon since someone else might enter Harvey’s life. Read on to find out who it will be.
Harvey And Kathy Are Coming Close, What Will Happen Now?
EastEnders Spoilers reveal that Harvey and Jean went on a holiday in Greece after dealing with a difficult time in their relationship. The Walford cabbie has returned to Walford, and he was witnessed telling Kathy that he is back to help Stacey with childcare. Later in the pub, Harvey was again spotted with Kathy and told her that Jean has not spoken to him since Greece. The duo went on to spend the evening together.
Things took an usual turn when a man stole Kathy’s bag and ran out, injuring the cafe owner in the leg. As Harvey and Penny looked after Kathy, the newcomer Harry chased the thief and returned Kathy’s bag to her. After this, Jean’s ex was seen helping Kathy clean the cafe, and the pair was spotted by Kat. A suspicious Kat commented on the duo, but Harvey told her that they were just friends.
But we all know what the Square taxi driver means when he says he’s just friends with someone. Long-time viewers know that problems between Jean and Harvey arrived when she found that Harvey was giving money to Maya to make up for Aaron Monroe’s racist attack three years ago. It seems like Jean had a problem with Harvey hiding all this from her. This heartbreak led to Jean bidding goodbye to Square for some time to spend time with Sean.
