Clair Norris recently addressed being called fat. However, she has chosen to focus on being a good friend and daughter instead. The actress posted a photo in a bright pink dress, sharing that her heart always ‘outweighs’ looks. In fact, Clair wants people to remember how she loves rather than how she looks.
The actress captioned her post saying, “Being called ‘fat’? Hallelujah. “Fat”- but not unkind, not selfish, not a nasty person. “Fat” – but still a good friend, a loving sister, a proud daughter. If the only thing someone can find to criticise is my appearance, “I’ll take that every time. Because character will always outweigh looks. And I’d rather be remembered for how I love than how I look.”
And oh my god, love how her co-stars flooded her with support. Lorraine Stanley wrote, “You’re beautiful inside & out.” Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater said, “Beautiful.” Meanwhile, Harriet Thorpe who plays Elaine Peacock, shared, “You are utterly beautiful in every way.” Even fans reacted to Clair’s post with one saying, “You are such a beautiful woman. Clair played Bernie Taylor on the BBC soap. And her departure last year marked the end of an era for the Taylor family. Bernie was the last remaining member on the Square. In her last storyline, viewers learnt that Berne was stealing from the Panesar family after she had control of their accounts following Nish Panesar’s death.
Elsewhere, Suki and Ravi had exposed her as the thief. However, Bernie justified her action, saying she was owed the money. Later, she and her cousin Felix Baker fled Walford together with a huge amount of the Panesar’s money. Norris was axed as a part of a cast shake-up.
