The BBC soap star Diane Parish has confirmed a new direction for Denise Fox. And the matriarch will face an uncertain future after a serious illness. We had informed earlier that Denise would be diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia after seeking answers for her ongoing fatigue.

Now, Diane Parish has revealed, “She is definitely in a bit of a daze. At first, there’s a certain amount of denial. Denise recently found out she had an iron deficiency, and also thought her tiredness might be the menopause, as there have been discussions with Honey about that. Initially, Denise kind of packs this away.”
But all we can do is that for a character who is used to anchoring her household, this is life-changing. The actress mentioned, “Denise is the one who takes care of everyone and is always strong, now she’s facing something with an uncertain, possibly quite bleak, outcome and it’s a complete shock.”
