Heather announces a new song co-written with Ruth Trimble and Nya. The actor reveals that she had written the track shortly after completing chemotherapy following a ‘breast cancer’ diagnosis. Heather also described feeling pretty broken during the retreat. In fact, fans can hear the new song for the first time during Heather’s upcoming shows in just over a week.
The actress captioned the post, “On the retreat, we went off each day to write with different people. This song came from the generosity of my two co-writers, who are also both solo artists but when we hit that writers’ room together, they were adamant that we write a song for me about my recent experience. And not a song for them. It was a moment of true generosity from them.
