This petty move led to a severe incident that affected the lives of many locals, including youngster Amy Mitchell. We also witnessed Penny taking full responsibility for the chaos.
The actress who portrays Penny spoke to Metro.co.uk about the storyline and said, ‘I think Penny is feeling a lot of mixed emotions at the moment, and she’s feeling quite alone.’ Kitty also teased that there are going to be fireworks once her character finds out the truth this week. She highlighted that Penny is going to be shocked and deeply hurt since she will feel betrayed not just by Penny but also by Denise.

EastEnders spoilers relay that Denise knew about her daughter’s role in this ordeal, but she hid it for weeks. She might reveal it this week. Kitty sheds light on how both women will “lose [their] filter” when Penny confronts Chelsea, and it will be “very raw and very real.” Even though this guilt was eating Chelsea, Penny might not care after what she put her through.
