EastEnders favourite Rita Simons recently shared a candid health and beauty update. In fact, the actress discussed her ongoing recovery following a recent procedure.

Rita’s Post-Op Recovery Update
The BBC soap star Rita Simons revealed that she is still dealing with post-op fluid retention. And the actress mentioned that managing the recovery has been unbelievably boring at the eight week mark. In fact, because of her ongoing recovery, Rita is avoiding frying out in the sun during the day.
Instead, she stays indoors and tries to defy gravity by booking a cosmetic treatment. We also know that Simons treated herself to a high intensity focused ultrasound facial at Dr Hennessy Cosmetic and My Aesthetics Clinics.
Rita captioned her post saying, “Still dealing with post-op fluid retention (which is unbelievably boring at 8 weeks) so sod frying out in the sun today…I stayed indoors instead and attempted to defy gravity with a HIFU facial. No filler. Just HIFU and a dream. Apologises to Mariah Carey.”
Several fans also reacted warmly to the post with one saying, “You are naturally beautiful Rita, without makeup looks so good and how’s your recovery going and your no vaping, love ya.” Another wrote, “You always look fab, Rita, honestly, your skin is amazing. Loving the hair too, great post though. I’m sure the post op retention will shift soon…I didn’t know that was such a thing, sending love, stay cool x.”
Rita Simon’s Final Stint In EastEnders
After Jack and Ronnie’s wedding, Roxy sneaked away with Ronnie to drink. In fact, Roxy was already heavily intoxicated and drug-fueled. However, when the two saw that the hotel’s indoor swimming pool was closed, they decided to jump in.
But when Roxy hit the cold water, she suffered cardiac arrest. Soon, Ronnie realised that her sister was unconscious she too jumped inside to save her. However, she was wearing her heavy wedding dress.
Hence, the wedding gown got quickly waterlogged and weighed her down. As she was unable to lift ROxy or pull herself up, ROnnie too drowned with his sister.
