Meanwhile, recently Sid Owen has reportedly crashed and written off a luxury boat costing €130000. He bought it for a new business venture on the River Thames.
He had planned to launch VIP river tours near his London home after purchasing the cruiser with a business partner. There was trouble when the boat named Rolling on the River collided with an overhanging tree and started taking on water.

A witness said that there was an almighty banging noise after the vessel hit something near the riverbank. Someone was climbing out, and they couldn’t believe it when he realised who it was.
The witness said that he was very recognisable and he was Ricky from EastEnders. They said that he appeared to have been drinking before the crash.
Meanwhile, the second-hand cruiser is said to have cost around €35000 while similar new models sell for around €130000. The reports suggest that the actor, who has also appeared in Strictly Come Dancing, and his partner could face a hefty recovery bill to remove the damaged vessel from the Thames. They will face fines from the Environment Agency.
