EE/Jake had received backlash.

He admitted that two of the images featured in the exhibition incorporated AI-generated source imagery. Also, Jake defended his process, saying, “These images were not personally generated by me and already existed prior to being used within the works.”

Adding further he said, “These particular pieces were created in 2024 and were not originally intended for inclusion in this exhibition.” The actor now looks ahead to future projects. And he reassured the public that, “Since then I have not used AI within my artworks and do not intend to move forward.”

Indelible Fine Arts Shuts Down The Charity

Despite the clarification, the venue chose to terminate the display. And it’s due to an escalating wave of horrid and abusive behaviour directed at the staff. The gallery also expressed immense sadness over the situation. They noted the vitriol completely distracted from the goal of raising vital funds for Dementia UK.

In an Instagram post, the business said, “To bring an end to the continual abusive messages, we have been left with no choice but to close the show.” And the management lamented that “the main message behind this exhibition has been entirely lost during the online storm.”

In fact, the independent business has vowed to learn from the situation. However, with this sudden closure, the actor will have to refocus on his television commitments. We know that his character Max Branning is at the central to the upcoming New Year’s flashforward episode. Meanwhile, do you think Jake Wood is being rightly criticised?
