Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin are one of the most loved pairs of EastEnders. And fans have been waiting for an update about their storyline for months. Well, now it’s a major relief for everyone who loves the couple, as Heather Peace has confirmed a huge future for the duo.
The actress has revealed that the couple’s journey to becoming parents will soon return to the screens. In fact, fans are absolutely excited as the plot was put on the back burner. Meanwhile, keep scrolling to see what Heather teased about the storyline.
EastEnders To Soon Navigate Eve And Suki’s Adoption Journey
As we know, Suki and Eve had faced harsh initial criticism from both sceptical children and estranged relatives. Despite that, the couple are determined to navigate a gruelling screen process and build a permanent future together.
In fact, we will see the two lovers officially revive their delayed plan to become parents together after their landmark wedding last year. Fans were baffled when the complex narrative was put on the back burner on screen in recent months.
And now, actress Heather Prace has confirmed that the couple has resumed intense filming schedules to highlight the realities of non-traditional family building. We can say the plot explores how an earlier prison sentence disrupts a household’s eligibility during social work evaluations.
Heather added, “We’ve been filming a lot together over the past few months. This is such an important storyline to tell because it shows what a tricky process it can be. Because Eve’s been to prison, I would just immediately think it’s off the table, and you’d never be able to adopt if you’ve been to prison. Hopefully this story educated people a little bit, and somebody might apply to adopt who wouldnt’ have before.”
Suki And Eve Are Soulmates Who Will Stay Together Forever!
Also, even though the characters face stressful legal problems which are hurting the family, the actors play them with a very strong love that cannot be broken. Heather has emphasised a desire for the pairing to remain together for a very long time.
She added, “I still think there’s a long way for these two to go. There’s probably loads more trauma for them because it’s EastEnders, but ultimately, a little bit like Kat and Alfie were always endgame, I was hoping that they would go down that route with Suki and Eve as well.
Well, now it’s quite evident that Eve and Suki will fight all odds to establish their dream family. Meanwhile, do you think the couple is endgame? Let us know in the comments section. For more EastEnders spoilers and updates keep following Soap Opera Daily.
