EastEnders’ Kat Reaches Out To Zoe After Painful Revelation
The Slaters have been facing a tough time recently. Kat has tried to speak to her daughter Zoe about her past. However, she never fully opened up and always threatened to pack her bags and leave. Things soon became intense when Zoe was held hostage alongside Kat and Stacey. We saw how Zoe’s darkest secret was revealed. She had two children, but she lost one and gave away another. The entire Slater family was shaken.
However, soon the hostage moment came to an end. The women managed to knock Greg unconscious. However, the danger is still looming. Jack Branning and Ravi Gulati arrived on the scene. And under pressure, Zoe unintentionally said that it was Greg who had shot at her weeks ago. Jack and Ravi decided to grab this opportunity and put the entire blame on him for the shooting incident.
Now that the threat was gone from the Slaters’ lives, Kat and Stacey sighed. However, Zoe still looked guarded. Kat and Stacey tried to console and support her. But she was not ready to speak up. Kat wants Zoe to move beyond her painful past. She asks Stacey for help. Kat seeks assistance from Stacey. She plans to plant a tree for Zoe’s daughter to show support for her. Her entire family is standing strong beside her. Stacey agrees to help her. Kat was hoping that when Zoe sees the tree, she would understand that her family wants to help her and not push her away.
Zoe wasn’t ready to open up, but appreciated their support. But she stayed distant. And this was heartbreaking for Kat. Even Stacey was worried that nothing would ever bring Zoe back to normal.
Elsewhere, Sharon’s comeback has not been a good moment for Zoe. Their history is full of pain. Years ago, Sharon’s dad, Den, had forced Zoe to lie that she was pregnant with Dennis’s baby. He did so to keep Sharon and him separate. Den had also seduced Zoe, and she got involved in covering up his murder by Chrissie Watts. Sharon still holds grudges against Zoe for it.
