Elsewhere, away from the soap, Amelia Flanagan has become a charity Ambassador for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. She will support fundraising campaigns and help the charity reach more audiences. Amelia visited the charity’s purpose-built children’s hospice, Russell House, in April 2026. She saw and heard the work about Forget Me Not both within the local communities and across the region.
The soap actor has joined the group of supporters, including Doctor Who Star Jodie Whittaker, Happy Valley’s Rhys Connah, Paralytic gold medalist Hannah Cockroft, goalkeeping penalty saving expert Mark Crossley, Eorl Crabtree, Michael Lawrence and Dan Lloyd. She said that she is excited to become the Ambassador for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. She is looking forward to spreading awareness in West Yorkshire.
