Eden’s Sister Had Cancer!

Eden Taylor Draper plays the character of Belle Dingle in the soap. She has been a part of many engaging storylines. Belle accidentally killed her best friend, Gemma. Furthermore, she faced schizophrenia. Furthermore, she was also involved with Lalchan. The soap fans were shocked to see Tom and Belle’s abusive marriage.

Elsewhere, away from the soap, Eden opened up about her experience of watching her younger sister, Francesa, who she refers to as Chessie, undergo cancer treatment in a moving film made by Teenage Cancer Trust. The sisters took part in Charity’s cancer conversation campaigns.

Meanwhile, Chelsie reflected on the moment she found out that she had cancer. The doctor said that they had found traces in her blood. She said that she couldn’t breathe. No one is prepared to have the conversation alone at the age of 14. She added that it was one of the biggest conversations that stood out to her, as it was a difficult two-year journey. Her mental health also suffered, so she couldn’t talk to her parents. However, she turned to her sister for her support. 

EM/ Eden was a mess

Eden said that her sister’s mental health affected her more than her physical health. She tried to stay strong around her sister. But the minute she wasn’t with her, she was a mess. Furthermore, Eden also introduced Chessie to the specialist unit at Leeds Hospital and Teenage Cancer Trust staff, where she could express herself.

The soap star added that she was happy that Chessie was comfortable opening up to her. Meanwhile, Chessie added that the support workers introduced her to new people. She appreciated their explanations. They spoke about the different chemotherapies and different phases. Chessie added that they were lovely. Meanwhile, Eden advised to be as normal as one can be.
