No one is prepared to have the conversation alone at the age of 14. She added that it was one of the biggest conversations that stood out to her, as it was a difficult two-year journey. Her mental health also suffered, so she couldn’t talk to her parents. However, she turned to her sister for her support.
Eden said that her sister’s mental health affected her more than her physical health. She tried to stay strong around her sister. But the minute she wasn’t with her, she was a mess. Furthermore, Eden also introduced Chessie to the specialist unit at Leeds Hospital and Teenage Cancer Trust staff, where she could express herself.
The soap star added that she was happy that Chessie was comfortable opening up to her. Meanwhile, Chessie added that the support workers introduced her to new people. She appreciated their explanations. They spoke about the different chemotherapies and different phases. Chessie added that they were lovely. Meanwhile, Eden advised to be as normal as one can be.
