Meanwhile, Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain Dingle, opened up about the storyline. The soap star appeared at a recent Emmerdale event where he spoke to the press. He told Daily Star that his character has leaned on his granddaughter, Sarah Sugden. The soap fans know that Sarah is the daughter of Debbie Dingle and Andy Sugden. Charley Webb played Debbie, while Kelvin Fletcher portrayed Andy.
Kelvin left the soap in 2016 after playing the role for 20 years, while Charley quit in 2021 after spending 19 years in the village. She was last seen in February 2021. Meanwhile, the soap viewers are also aware that Debbie is the daughter of Cain and Charity Dingle. He talked about the bond between Cain and Sarah and Debbie’s absence.

Jeff said Katie, who plays Sarah, was amazing in the episode where the camera was on Cain and the pair of them came into view at the end. He added that she was fantastic throughout all the stories.
