Soap Bosses Break Silence On Hurtful Claims!
Many AI-generated posts, including fake soap spoilers and flare information, were shared online. Amid this, the two ITV soaps, Emmerdale and Coronation Street, shared a statement on Facebook. The soap bosses wrote that they have found out a lot of AI-generated Facebook pages sharing fake news about the soap actors and shows.
Some of these posts are extremely harmful. The soap bosses added that such posts are also damaging their reputation. They urged the soap fans to follow genuine news outlets. The soap followers can report the fake news.
Meanwhile, no Emmerdale and Coronation Street episodes were aired today. This is due to the FIFA World Cup coverage, which was aired on ITV1. However, there will be long instalments to cover the missed episodes. Tomorrow, June 12, Emmerdale and the rival soap will air an hour-long episode.
Soaps Will Face A Major Schedule Chaos!
Furthermore, on Monday, June 15, both shows will include sixty-minute editions. The Dales villagers will appear at 8 pm, followed by the appearance of Weatherfield residents at 9 pm. The same pattern will repeat the next day on Tuesday, June 16.
However, the soap fans will be a bit disappointed on Wednesday, June 17. No episode due to the coverage of England vs Croatia. Even on Thursday, June 18, the soap fans won’t be able to watch the episodes as ITV airs the Switzerland vs Bosnia and Herzegovina match. However, the soaps will resume on Friday, June 19. Half-hour episodes will air with Emmerdale at 8 pm and Corrie at 8.30 pm.
