She killed her brother, and Joe Tate recorded it. Since then, he has been blackmailing the Sugdens. He has been using the footage to get the Butler’s farm. He said that if they didn’t give him the land, he would share the footage with the police authorities.
Furthermore, Joe Tate asked Robert Sugden to help him frame Moira Dingle. This made him feel that Robert was only left with the option to sell the farm.
But Victoria has different views. She believes that if she had not killed John Sugden, Moira Dinge wouldn’t have been behind bars. Victoria even thought of handing herself over to the police. She realised that she had to give the land to Joe Tate.

In the latest episode, Victoria Sugden went to meet Moira Dingle in prison. She told her that it was difficult to manage the farm. She told her that she needed her signature on the contract.
She told her that the Tates want to buy the farm. Moira was heartbroken and accepted that Victoria was doing best for her family.
Moira tearfully signed the contract and told Victoria to look after herself. Then Victoria gave the contract to Joe Tate. She told him that she was going to Portugal with Harry to see Diane. Furthermore, she told Robert that the village had too many bad memories. She wanted to lead a new life. Thus, Victoria is leaving the show.
