Chris Coghill entered the Dales as Kev. He arrived as Robert’s prison husband. They got married in prison. Robert was shocked to see him and didn’t tell Aaron the truth. But Aaron saw Kev and Robert kissing outside the pub. He was disappointed, but soon Robert and Aaron teamed up. They learned that Kev was faking his illness and decided to make a path for Kev’s exit.
But Kev held Aaron and Robert hostage. However, he decided to leave the village. Later, Kev came back and troubled Robert and Aaron Dingle. Soon, Robert found out the truth and asked Kev to move on. However, later, the soap fans that John who were back, held Kev hostage. However, Kev fooled him and left the village.
Meanwhile, the soap also revealed that Kev is Lewis’s biological father. He wanted to meet his son, but couldn’t meet him due to Nicola. Even Lewis is unaware that Kev is his father. Though Kev left the village without meeting his son, he is ready to return to the Dales.

The soap star told Inside Soap that he doesn’t know if it’s what people will expect. He is really excited for him to be back in the village. He wants to see what happens, as it might not be what everyone thinks it will be.
Bradley laughed and said that Kev is such a different character, so obviously, everything isn’t as serious with him as it could be. He said that the characters are so different, but there are many similarities.
