The soap is ready to mark Deaf Awareness Week from May 4 to 10. They have started sharing videos, and the clips will be released throughout the week. The stars of the soap will teach and learn sign language. Today, the soap shared the first clip on their official Instagram page. The viewers saw Laura Norton, who plays Kerry, and Mike Parr, who plays Ross, in the clip. Laura teaches Mike British Sign Language.
Meanwhile, Laura’s fans might know that she is married to Mark Jordan, who shares two children with Usher Syndrome. It is a rare genetic condition impacting hearing, vision and balance. This condition is present from birth, and it can take years for symptoms to disappear.
Elsewhere, Laura Norton said that she was thrilled to know the idea. Deaf Awareness Week is crucial to them as their children have been diagnosed with hearing loss. They both wear hearing aids. She added that every Deaf person’s experience is different. However, one thing they wanted to do as they got older was learn sign language and teach them to use it well.

He shared that his daughter attends baby sensory classes where they are learning Makaton.
He thinks that one should learn sign language at school. It would be valuable and useful as learning any other language.
