Though he hid the truth from everyone, he eventually confessed to his cancer to everyone. His wife, Moira, has been supporting him.
Recently, the soap fans also saw him undergoing cancer surgery. The cancer operation was successful, but he has been facing many side effects. However, the story took a darker turn in today’s episode. Moira and Cain anxiously waited for their appointment. Moira tried to lighten their mood. When Cain told Moira that she didn’t need to be there to support him, she joked that she wanted to stress him out.
Cain’s Hospital Visit Changes Everything!
Moira added that soon they would be able to put all this behind them. Then she apologised for their phrase. Moira joked further that they should keep a swear jar for every cliché they use while talking about Cain’s health. Moira used another cliché. Cain even demanded a pound for the jar before they saw the consultant. However, when they met Ms Rhodes, Cain received some disappointing news.
She told him that the cancer operation was successful, but the cancer has spread further. She added that he would need more treatment. Cain and Moira are left shattered. Cain was anxious about his uncomfortable symptoms that he would have to deal with, including his incontinence struggles.
