Kim Is Alone!
Kim had a major accident while returning to the farm. She damaged her leg and lost her horse, Ice. When Joe told her that Ice had to be euthanised, she was angry. Later, she was sad to learn that Sam and Lydia were responsible for Ice’s death. They laid a snare for rabbits, one of which trapped Ice’s leg. Kim was miffed as Lydia betrayed her. She fired Sam and Lydia.
Before this, Kim also argued with Joe Tate, whom she had accused of trying to get his hands on her empire. She was also sad as he could have saved the horse by trying another method. Meanwhile, Joe and Dawn have been living in the cottage after Kim sent them away from the Home Farm.
In Monday’s episode, Joe tried to reconcile with Kim. But she didn’t listen to him. He started thinking about his future and told Dawn that they could move away from the village to start a new life. Dawn was reluctant, as her kids were happy there. But Joe insisted she meet him at the cottage later.
Dawn Turns Down Joe’s Efforts!
Meanwhile, as soon as he left, Charity started talking to Dawn about Joe. The soap fans know that Charity isn’t a fan of her after his illegal kidney transplant, Noah’s drugging and the way he treated Debbie. She told Dawn that Joe would soon be gone, and he might be planning how to dump her.
Dawn was concerned that Charity might be right. She ignored several phone calls from Joe as she thought that he might break up with her. But when Dawn went outside, Joe was wearing a smart suit accompanied by a woman with a violin.
As the instrument played, Joe got down on one knee in front of Dawn, Charity, Robert and Aaron. He proposed, but Charity was mouthing the word no. To viewers’ surprise, Dawn said no.
