Gabrielle Dowling, who plays Cathy, left the soap last year. But she will return. Another character who is ready to depart is Celia Daniels. The boss of the drug dealers’ operation has been ruthless to all her captives. Jaye Griffiths, who plays Celia, said that she knew that she had limited time on soap. But was sad as she wanted to stay forever.
Furthermore, Isabel Hodgins, who plays the character of Victoria Sugden, will be taking maternity leave as soon as she is pregnant with her first child. Isabel told The Mirror that she has worked on the soap for nineteen years and will miss it. But her exit scenes haven’t been out yet.
