Due to the slurry leak at the tank, which led to the contamination of the village’s water supply, the lake needs to be dredged.
In tonight’s episode, Victoria Sugden approached him while John was getting ready for the wedding. He said he was very lucky to marry Aaron, as he will always support him. John said it was just the start, and he wouldn’t let anything spoil it. Meanwhile, the workers started dredging the lake where John dumped Nate Robinson’s body.

He saw that the workers had stopped doing the work as the dredging had been cancelled. John Sugden decided to proceed with the wedding.
