Charity Goes To The Police Station!
Dr Todd found out a major secret of Charity and hasn’t stopped troubling her since then. Jacob’s boss found out that Charity’s baby doesn’t belong to Ross. She learned that Jacob isn’t baby Leyla’s father. Dr Todd asked Charity to convince Jacob to drop the complaint against her.
Later, Dr Todd demanded £10000 from Sarah’s grandmother. But when she learned that Dr Todd owned half of the pub, she increased the amount to £100000. Charity was desperate to hide the truth, so she stole goods worth £30000 from Caleb’s depot. Charity knew that she wouldn’t be able to find the rest of the cash.
But later, the story took a dark turn. Charity was drunk and passed out on the sofa. Dr Todd went too far. Jacob’s cruel boss sexually assaulted Charity Dingle, who was shocked. She then went to the police station to report the abuser. Later, she broke down. Charity hasn’t disclosed the truth to anyone.
Dr Todd Exits The Village After Police Investigation!
In today’s episode, the police went to the village and asked Dr Todd to accompany them to the police station for investigation. But Dr Todd was busy loading bags into the back of her car ahead of her new life in Sheffield. She didn’t want to delay it. However, during the questioning, Dr Todd said that sex was consensual. DS Reid was forced to leave her. Furthermore, Charity’s tests came back inconclusive. Thus, Dr Todd couldn’t be charged.
Meanwhile, Dr Reid further asked Charity for more proof. It seemed that she would disclose the blackmail. Charity stepped back, losing her faith in justice. Elsewhere, Dr Todd said goodbye to Manpreet and Vanessa. She went in the direction of Sheffield and even waved at Charity out of the window.
