Dr Todd Leaves The Village!
The soap fans know that Dr Todd has lately been the soap’s biggest antagonist. Though she recently exited the village, she troubled many people. Her first target was Jacob Gallagher. She berated the character and framed him as too obsessive. Furthermore, Dr Todd made Vanessa fall in love with her. Later, she broke her heart, claiming she was leaving the village for a new job.
However, what disturbed me the most was her storyline with Charity. She learned about Charity’s baby truth. Dr Todd discovered that Jacob wasn’t baby Leyla’s father. She decided to use it to her advantage. Dr Todd asked her to convince Jacob to drop the complaint. Then she blackmailed her to give money. In the recent scenes, Charity was left shattered as the cruel doctor sexually assaulted her.
Charity was brave enough to report her abuser to the police. But despite the medical examination of Charity, the police didn’t get any evidence. Dr Todd twisted the story in the interrogation, claiming that the sex was consensual. When DS Reid asked Charity if she had any more evidence, the publady wanted to open up about blackmail, but she didn’t. Later, Dr Todd left the village.
Fans Are Convinced Dr Todd Won’t Get Away With It!
The soap fans were disturbed and took to social media to reflect on the exit scenes. A soap viewer wrote on Reddit that they don’t want Todd’s exit to be where she gets away with what she did to Charity. They hope that Charity will eventually reveal the truth to everyone. Though they will be disappointed because of baby Leyla’s truth, they will try to take down Dr Todd.
They added that in Eastenders, when Ben was sexually assaulted by Lewis, who ran away was caught by Phil and Sam. They gave Ben a gun and put Lewis in the same room with him until he admitted the truth.
The soap fan hopes that the Dingles do the same thing to Dr Todd and give Charity the power to decide Todd’s fate. The other soap fans also believe that Dr Todd won’t get away with it, as the police believe Charity. However, the upcoming episodes will disclose more.
