Dr Todd Blackmails Charity!
Dr Todd has been targeting many people in the village. Jacob was her first target. She has been troubling the trainee doctor and has been berating him for small mistakes. Jacob has been finding it difficult to manage his personal life and career.
Her other target is Charity. She has been taking advantage of the situation as she knows a secret. Last month, Todd saved Charity’s life after complications during baby Leyla’s birth. She overheard Ross and Chas and learned that Jacob and Sarah aren’t baby Leyla’s parents.
Meanwhile, the trainee doctor’s boss has inherited her late father’s property and needs funds to shift there, so she decided to extort the money from Charity. She confronted Charity and demanded £ 10,000 to keep the secret. However, Charity said that she didn’t have savings. It seemed that Todd would accept £5000 and leave the village.
Is Charity About To Lose Everything?
However, later she learned from Manpreet that Charity owns half the pub. Thus, Todd demanded £100,000. She told her she could sell her share of the pub to raise money.In Monday’s instalment, Charity called the bank and asked for a loan extension. But they refused.
Then Sarah came in to look for Leyla’s toy bunny. She saw Charity angrily throwing away her phone. She told her that she was having problems with the brewery. When Sarah left, Charity received a message from Todd, who reminded her that the clock was ticking. Thus Charity began to look for the buyer of her share of The Woolpack.
Elsewhere, Caroline Harker, who plays Todd, said that she didn’t think that she would go too dark. Her father’s death has impacted her. However, she has been enjoying the game.
