Elsewhere, at the end of a recent episode, the soap fans noticed a big change. They saw in the closing credits that Jacob’s surname had been changed. They saw the name changed from Jacob Gallagher to Jacob Sugden after he married Sarah Sugden earlier this year.
The couple tied the knot on New Year’s Day. A fan asked X why they had given Jacob the Sugden surname. It is a bit weird. Another fan asked whether they are trying to pretend that they haven’t wiped the Sugden’s out of existence except for Robert.
