Graham Foster returned to the village this year. He tried hard to give some wisdom to Joe Tate. But Joe has remained unbothered. Joe has spent the start of 2026 trying to get the Butler’s farm. He blackmailed many people, including Robert and Victoria. Due to him, Moira is in prison and has been charged with human trafficking.
Amid this, Graham Foster warned Joe and said that if he wasn’t careful, things could worsen. Meanwhile, Cain Dingle was being told that he needed to move out of his home. Thus Graham was right. Joe won’t rest from playing the evil villain in the soap.
Earlier in the week, Graham Foster found Kim Tate’s will in the safe. He gave it to Joe Tate, who was shocked to know that Kim wants Lydia Dingle to have the Home Farm after her death. Joe was angry, telling Graham that he deserved the Home Farm as it was his birthright.
Joe’s Downfall Begins!
Joe was upset and wasn’t willing to sit and tell Kim how he feels that he isn’t inheriting the Home Farm. Meanwhile, the soap viewers also know that it’s easier for him to break the rules than have an honest conversation. Joe’s plan began when he gave Lydia a surprise pay rise. He tried to be nice and told her that he would be there for her if she needed anything.
Then Joe called a friend and set up a bank account in Lydia’s name. Meanwhile, in the latest episode, Graham checked Joe’s computer and realised that Joe was intending to make it look like Lydia was stealing from Kim. He hoped that it would be enough to get her removed from the will.
Both Graham and Dawn confronted Joe about his move, but he was unbothered. Joe didn’t realise that he had gone too far.
