In the latest episode, her character departed the village for a cruise along with Cathy Hope. However, viewers aren’t satisfied with so many characters leaving the show. Lesley Leaves After 16 Years Along With Gabrielle!
Brenda Walker won tickets to a three-month luxury cruise through a magazine competition. Even Cathy Hope accompanied her. She bid goodbye to her ex-boyfriend, Eric Pollard, and Cathy’s father, Bob. At first, Brenda decided not to go on the trip. But why? Meanwhile, soap fans are aware that Pollard lost Brenda’s savings in the cryptocurrency scandal, which meant she couldn’t even buy a wedding dress, thus ending their relationship.
However, when she came to know that Pollard, who had Parkinson’s, had a fall, she decided to cancel her trip. But Pollard insisted that she should go and enjoy and not miss the opportunity because of him. He even confessed that he still loves her and he would be fine without her. Brenda also visited Heath’s grave to bid goodbye. Her ex-husband Bob, also came there and promised to put flowers on Gennie’s grave on her behalf.
When Lesley was leaving the show, there was a revelation that there would be more exits. With actors like Lesley and Roxy exiting the soap, no actor feels secure. Though the show has grown bigger, it is expensive to produce soaps. To save money many actors have to leave the soap but it’s a matter of shame.
Ella’s Exit Displeases Fans!
Along with Brenda’s exit, Paula Lane who played Ella also exited the soap. Her last episode aired on Thursday where her obsession over Liam led her into an alarming situation. A major confrontation between Liam and Ella led Ella to push him with Liam hitting his head on the rock. She started crying believing that she had killed him but felt relieved when he gained consciousness. She also confessed her love for him and told him that she was innocent. However, later she was arrested by the police.
Ella’s exit storyline dissatisfied fans. A fan didn’t like the script as they believed that there was so much potential for the character’s growth. Another viewer expressed their disappointment and said that Ella wanted to change her life after killing Joanne but her storyline ended up portraying that criminals can’t change.
