Reece Dinsdale Responds To A Hater On Social Media
Soap star Reece Dinsdale got back at an online troll in the most fantastic way. The spat started when Reece criticised Nigel Farage during the Reform UK election campaign. A user on X wasn’t happy and tweeted, “Shame that your career has gone down the toilet, and you’re just bitter and twisted. Oh well, never mind.”
In response, the actor wrote that he is currently rehearsing for a role in a Chichester play and will soon direct ‘two of the nation’s most popular television dramas’. He added, “As toilets go, this is a particularly fragrant one.” Let us tell you that the star joined Corrie in 2008 as Joe McIntyre, father to Tina.
During his time on the show, Joe married Gail’s fourth husband. After leaving the role of Joe in 2010, Reece returned to soaps ten years later, joining Dales as the villainous Paul Ashdale. He stayed on the show until the character met a tragic end the following year.
Earlier this year, fans supported Reece after he announced a career break following a family tragedy. He wrote on social media, “Following the death of my Ma (& moving house), at 64, I’ve taken a decision to have some time out from work.” He expressed his enjoyment of this time off.
