A year after Nate Robertson was killed off in Emmerdale, the character’s name got mentioned again after last week’s episode of Corriedale. Jurell Carter, who portrayed Nate, posted a vintage picture of himself with his character and John Sugden. Jurell starred as Nate Robertson on the soap. He was the secret son of Cain Dingle, who died at the hands of serial killer John Sugden. Elsewhere, Nate was briefly mentioned in the recent Corriedale episode. After which Jurell posted an Instagram snap of Nate alongside John. he wrote, “I heard Nate made an appearance this week. Only right that I put a throwback up with his killer.”
Moreover, the actor even assured his fans that only Nate is gone. But he isnt disappearing from screens. He also teased his fans that he filmed for two projects last year. And viewers will see him back on television this year. Moreover, he will also be on the big screen in 2027.

And he admitted that knowing there wasn’t a possibility of returning pushed him to “go full force to the pedal outside of the soap and really give it my all.”
