Ruby Admits The Murder!
Soap fans know Anthony Fox sexually abused Ruby Miligan as a teenager. Ruby also conceived Steph through sexual abuse. To seek revenge, Ruby murdered Anthony Fox. Meanwhile, Aaron Dingle, John Sigden, and Cakeb Miligan helped her to cover up the murder. John disposed of the body. However, in the recent episodes, when the dredging of the lake took place due to the slurry leak, Ruby thought that Anthony’s body had been discovered, as John didn’t reveal where he had buried the body.
Though Ruby and Caleb decided to leave the village, Ruby got anxious and headed to the police station. She revealed that she had murdered Anthony as he abused her. Ruby also left a letter about her whereabouts before leaving. Meanwhile, when Caleb received the letter, he arranged a solicitor who stopped the investigation.

However, in Wednesday’s episode, Ruby is left mortified as she acted too hastily. When she told the police about the murder, she told them that no one was involved. But then the police told her that the body in the lake wasn’t Anthony’s. She was horrified but made a plan with the solicitor, who told her to tell the police that she had mental health problems due to the abuse, so that the police would be baffled. Meanwhile, Joe Tate learned about Ruby’s trouble and decided to help her. He asked someone in Spain to pretend to be Anthony so that the police wouldn’t doubt Ruby. The police believed, and she went home.
Meanwhile, soap fans know that Anthony is dead, and that is the reason Joe needed someone to pretend as Anthony. In the flashback scene, the soap viewers learned about his murder. Meanwhile, Aaron thought he had killed him, and John decided to help bury Anthony’s body. However, it is still a mystery where Anthony’s body is.
