The soap fans know that Sam and Belle made a plan to arrange the tickets for Jason Donovan’s concert. They ended up stealing trees from the Home Farm to sell them and earn money for Lydia. But their plan was not successful. Joe Tate went to Sam to ask for his help in finding the thieves. However, he learned that Sam stole the trees. He confronted him and sacked him.
In the upcoming episodes, after Belle and Sam’s plan goes wrong, Ryan asks him to tell his wife the truth. Though Sam doesn’t want to disappoint Lydia, he can’t hide the truth. He comes home and sees Lydia excitedly trying on dresses for the concert with Belle. She bashfully discloses that she knows that he managed to get tickets to give her a surprise.

But Lydia’s excitement doesn’t last long as Sam decides to tell the truth to his wife. The soap fans know that his efforts have gone a long way. He has to tell her that she can’t attend her favourite Aussie celebrity’s concert. Furthermore, Sam has to disclose that they are completely broke. Thus, Sam has messed things up.
