Mackenzie Boyd hints that Dawn is having an affair with her ex, Ross Barton. Billy Fletcher gets dubious and checks her phone. He learns that Dawn has changed her phone password, which raises his suspicions. Dawn’s secret lover, Joe, adds fuel to the fire, suggesting that Dawn is in a relationship with Ross. Billy gets convinced and goes to meet Ross.
When Billy confronts Ross and asks the truth, the two start fighting. Clemmie walks in and hears Billy’s accusations related to Dawn. Billy tries to explain to her but she refuses to communicate. He soon realises that he misunderstood everything. Joe gets guilty and supports Billy as he knows that he is the one behind his heartbreak. Billy leaves the Home Farm. Later, Joe tells the guilty Dawn that it’s for the best.
The Couple Breaks-up – Billy Is Overwhelmed!
Later, Billy is filled with remorse so he goes to Ross Barton and apologises. He advises him not to let the issues with Dawn impact the relationship with his children. He realises his home and returns with flowers as an apology. However, it is too late as their relationship no longer exists. Clemmie remains distant from Billy while Lucas asks Billy if he has come to stay with them. They gather themselves to tell the news to their children.
When they disclose their divorce to the children, Billy gets overwhelmed realising that he has to bid goodbye to his family. He leaves them with a heavy heart. Meanwhile, Kim Tate becomes sympathetic and offers him a place in a holiday cottage till he finds a place on his own to live. The devastating goodbye will leave the family in a heartbreak.
