However, later, Ashley was heartbroken as she had an affair with her sister, Nicola’s fiancée, Carlos Diaz. Meanwhile, she last made an appearance in 2023.
However, she left the village when her sister, Nicola King, forced her to give up her share of the B&B. When Bernice secured a fraudulent loan in her sister’s name, Nicola threatened her to report her to the police. So, Bernice decided to depart. She left the village with her daughter, Gabby.

Meanwhile, the actor, Samantha Giles, who played the character of Bernice Blackstock, is set to return to the soap for a very special occasion. She will return to attend her wedding ceremony.
