Caroline Harker is playing the role of Dr Todd. She has been bullying Jacob Gallagher. She has been berating him for small mistakes. Thus Jacob is finding it difficult to balance his personal and professional life. Meanwhile Dr Todd recently moved to Tug Ghyll cottage. Vanessa and Todd have grown close.
Furthermore this week saw Mary playing the matchmaker. She pushed Vanessa to ask Dr Todd out on a date. Todd accepted it. However during their date, Dr Todd revealed to Vanessa that she had inherited her late father’s home in Matlock. Vanessa was concerned that the distance might ruin their potential relationship. But Todd told her that she couldn’t move until she had raised some money.
Meanwhile the soap viewers know that she had taken early retirement after bullying Jacob. She had also learned that Charity and Ross are the biological parents of baby Leyla. In tomorrow’s instalment, Todd uses this secret to blackmail Charity. She demands £10000. Charity is anxious and also sees Todd kissing Vanessa.

The soap actor said that she doesn’t mean it genuinely in the first place. However she doesn’t know how to love. However she thinks it is genuine. But she is more inclined towards dodgy things. Furthermore Caroline added Poor old Vanessa.
Elsewhere Emma Atkins who plays Charity opened up about the storyline. She said that Charity is concerned for Vanesa.
