Charity Learns That Sarah Wants A Baby!
Sarah Sugden decided not to go into relationships but made a big decision to have a baby through IVF. However, things took a turn when doctors gave her biopsy results, informing the teenager that she had cervical cancer. She informed Jacob about it. He consoled her but called her selfish for wanting a baby. Then he told her to promise him to disclose her condition to Charity Dingle.
Sarah disclosed to Charity that she wanted to have a baby through IVF. She was also visiting Manpreet to get advice from her. Charity told her that it could put her body under a lot of stress, so she isn’t happy with her idea. However, the grandmother is still unaware that Sarah learned that her cervix was inflamed and later found out that she has cervical cancer. The doctors told her that her cervix needs to be removed. However, she could still give birth to the baby.
Charity Learns About Sarah’s Health Condition!
Then Sarah goes in for the procedure, and Dr. Knapp informs her that they have retrieved a good amount of eggs to test for viability. She feels happy, but the story takes a turn when Charity answers a phone call on Sarah’s phone and is shocked that it is from the hospital. She eventually learns the 20-year-old has cervical cancer.
Charity is furious as well as shocked. She confronts Sarah and tells her that she has learned the truth. Elsewhere, Emma Atkins, who plays Charity Dingle in the soap, revealed that the story will get more intense towards the middle and end of the year.
