It’s time for Emmerdale fans to bid their final goodbye to Christine Tremarco, as she is all set to exit the soap. The twist in the tale came when her character- Rose Jackson’s belongings were found scattered on the road. One look at that and the unsettling feeling had started to take over everyone that Rose may have met a grim fate.
If Rose did meet a grim fate, all fingers would point toward Will and Kim. However, the August 23, 2024, episode, showed a series of flashback scenes that revealed what actually had happened to Rose. Well, it is true that she has met the end, but only the end of the character’s appearance on the screen, not life.

Emmerdale spoilers confirm that Rose Jackson lives to see several more sunsets, however, that will happen off-screen. The Monday episode showed Dawn driving her mother to the airport. This confirms that Rose has left Emmerdale, and her portrayer Christine Tremarco is out of the soap.
Furthermore, in the episode, when the cops tried to question Kim and Will, they both spun a tale of lies, hoping to protect each other. Both of them were unaware of what had happened to Rose but feared that the other may have ended her life. But that wasn’t the case. After Will and Kim dumped Rose at the side of the road with money to skip town, Dawn found her.
In fact, before leaving town, Rose filled Dawn in on everything that had transpired previously. She assured her daughter that she loves her, Billy, and their children. Yet, she is feeling forced to bolt. She then proceeded to hand over the money to Dawn and urged her to tear away from Home Farm’s toxicity.
Later, Dawn tested Will’s intentions towards her and Evan by telling him that Evan needed a bone marrow transplant and that Rose needed to get tested for it. However, when Will still didn’t tell her the truth, Dawn realized that he would always keep Kim above everyone else, even Evan. She then decides to use the money Rose gave her to get away with Evan and Billy.
