When she contacted her friends to find her a place to stay, they couldn’t help her. However, he met another fellow runaway, Dylan Penders, who offered to help her. She grew close to him. During that time, she also lost her unborn child. Soon, her family found her and brought her back home.
However she she still stayed in touch with him. She encouraged Marlon to let Dylan stay with them. But April’s father didn’t like the growing bond. So, he framed Dylan for stealing ketamine from the vet’s surgery. He later went to rehab with Marlon, secretly taking care of his financial needs. He broke the bond with April.
