The soap followers know that Charity Dingle has been hiding a major truth about baby Leyla. Sarah and Jacob are unaware that Ross is the father of the baby. But Dr Todd learned the truth and decided to use it to her advantage. Jacob’s boss asked Charity to convince the trainee doctor to drop the complaint. She had to do the task.
Later, Dr Todd demanded money from Charity. She initially asked for £10000 and later increased it to £100000 after finding out that she is the pub owner. A couple of ways ago, Charity showed her desperation again to hide the truth. She asked Kim Tate to buy her shares of the pub. Kim wasn’t increased, so Charity got more desperate and tried to rob the Home Farm. Lydia Dingle caught her, but she didn’t realise that she needed to tell everyone the truth.
Then Charity went to the depot and stole products. She gave £30,000 to Todd, who told her that if she didn’t get the rest of the money by the next day, she would reveal the secret at Sarah’s 21st birthday party.

Meanwhile, in the upcoming episodes, Todd enjoys a drink with Manpreet in the pub while Charity and Jacob get the pub ready for Sarah’s birthday. Then, Todd forces Charity into the corner to pin the picture of Sarah on the wall. Dr Todd comments on Leyla being Charity’s child. She adds that birthday celebrations cost a lot.
Then Sarah’s grandmother flees, saying that she needs to take Moses to football. Has she worked out another way to get money? Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Dr Todd sexually assaults Charity in the upcoming episodes. The soap will explore the experience in the aftermath of the attack.
